Our Services

Riverside Walk

Wander the banks of the River Suir through treeline and woodland. Follow the trail beside the old weirs where fish flicker in the shallows, and listen to the songbirds overhead. Across the river stands Suircastle — a formidable 4‑storey tower house from the 1200s, rising from a natural platform above the Suir.

Athassel Abbey (1200s)

Step into one of Ireland's largest medieval monastic sites, founded in the 1200s. Enjoy a short guided tour with key history and highlights. A remarkable location with centuries of heritage — and a brilliant photo stop.

Golden Village & Castle

You'll arrive in Golden, a small riverside village with plenty of heritage charm. Visit Golden Castle, linked to Cromwell's winter encampment and still a notable landmark along the Suir. Nearby lies a secluded, disused church and graveyard — a tucked‑away site with real old‑world character.

A gentle 3.5 hour walk through one of Ireland’s most beautiful river valleys — finishing with a warm welcome at the village pub, light bites, a pint on the house and a freshly crafted Irish coffee.
